Last Friday, April 5, a meeting was held at the Department of Customs and Taxes between Nerea Rodriguez, Director of the Department and María Gonzalez, Deputy Director of Customs Management with a delegation of Foro MADCargo composed of Jesús Cuéllar, President, Regina Domínguez, Vice President and Angélica Nodal, Director of Foro MADCargo, who met to address crucial issues related to the latest reforms in customs procedures and the development of the air cargo sector.

Likewise, the fundamental role and the need to reactivate the meeting tables between the administration and the operators, such as the Air Cargo Coordination Table and the Border Process Optimization Working Group currently within the National Trade Facilitation Committee, were discussed.

A highlight of the meeting was the confirmation of Nerea Rodriguez's participation in the 5th Madrid Air Cargo Day Congress, a benchmark event in the sector, to be held on May 30 at the Madrid College of Engineers.
