Alberto Duarte, new director of Foro MADCargo

The Board of Directors of Foro MADCargo has agreed in its last meeting to appoint Alberto Duarte as the new director of the entity.

Foro MADCargo has taken a new step in the process of strengthening its work to promote the air cargo industry with the creation of the position of Director and the appointment of Alberto Duarte, decisions that respond to its process of growth and development of many different and varied projects in the field of air freight, as well as the need to professionalize its structure to better meet the processes inherent to the ambitious objectives underway.

Alberto Duarte has developed his entire professional career in the field of air freight transport and since 2020 he has been working as a business consultant in local and international projects. He has worked for companies with different profiles within the sector, such as airlines (TAP Portugal and PLAZA Servicios Aéreos), freight forwarders (AEI Iberfreight), integrators (DHL) and innovation and new technologies always in the field of air cargo (Champ Cargosystems), both in Spain and in other European countries. Partner of Foro MADCargo, his long trajectory and his wide transversal knowledge of the different links of the logistic chain have been highly valued at the time of his appointment to manage the day to day of the organization.

According to Jesús Cuéllar, president of Foro MADCargo, "the decision of the Board of Directors to create the position of Director and to appoint Alberto Duarte to it is part of our natural process of growth. More than 100 members already make up the organization, we are involved in very important air cargo promotion processes and, without limiting in any way the functions of the different members of the Board of Directors, we believe that in order to continue growing it is necessary to professionalize the team to support the organization and directly coordinate all the work in progress".
