Within the framework of the International Logistics Exhibition (SIL), which this week hosted the 39th ALACAT Congress in Barcelona, the heads of the Federation of National Associations of Freight Forwarders and International Logistics Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean (ALACAT) and Foro MADCargo signed yesterday the agreement by which Madrid will host the 40th edition of the Congress in 2025.
After the 2023 edition in Barcelona, the ALACAT Congress will return again to Spain in 2025.
This was formalized yesterday in Barcelona by ALACAT and Foro MADCargo, the entity that will host the largest congress of logistics operators in Latin America in the Spanish capital.
In the framework of the second session of the Congress, held this year at SIL, Moisés Solís, president of ALACAT, and Jesús Cuéllar, president of Foro MADCargo, signed yesterday the agreement establishing the collaboration framework for the celebration in 2025 of the ALACAT Congress in the city of Madrid.
In the moments prior to the signing of the agreement, Moisés Solís, celebrated the return of the Congress to Spain in 2025 after a new edition of excellent results held this year in Barcelona, thanking intensely to Foro MADCargo for its commitment to promote the ALACAT Congress in 2025.
For his part, Jesús Cuéllar expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in Foro MADCargo to celebrate the return of the ALACAT Congress to Madrid after the edition held in 2001, that is, 22 years ago.
According to Jesús Cuéllar, the 40th ALACAT Congress will serve to further strengthen Madrid's undisputed role as a logistics platform for Latin America in Europe.

In its 2023 edition, ALACAT has welcomed the participation of more than 250 congress participants from some twenty countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The ALACAT Congress is considered the largest congress of transport and logistics operators in South America.
